The wine-growing tradition of the Mosane valley does not date back to yesterday. In the 19th century, Huy was even considered the Belgian capital of viticulture.
It is therefore quite natural that your hosts seized this opportunity on the southern slope of the town. The slope, the soil and the exposure, not forgetting the thermal barrier offered by the Meuse, are the undeniable assets of this family vineyard in organic conversion.
In this natural setting, steeped in history and where the love of wine is king, you can share an extraordinary wine tourism experience (visit to the vineyard, tasting, oenology course).

Whether on foot or by bike, you can explore the region’s winegrowing heritage. This is an opportunity to meet the men and women who bring this land to life, each in their own way. And when you say: a stroll through the vineyards, you mean: wine tasting. On request, you will have the opportunity to learn about the local wines.

Access
By car
The guest house is easily accessible by car and has private parking for 4 cars.
Ten minutes from the Walloon motorway, the E42, the guest house is located 30 minutes from Namur and Liège, 40 minutes from Tongeren, Marche-en-Famenne or Durbuy. Le Clos Bois Marie is only 1h10 from Brussels and Mons. The city of Spa and the Spa-Francorchamps racetrack can be reached in 1 hour. Maastricht can be reached in 45 minutes. Cologne, Düsseldorf, Luxembourg, Ostend, Amsterdam and Paris are only a few hours away.
Public transport
The train station of Huy is about 20 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes by taxi. On request, we can arrange transport from the station to the guest house.
